Amanda Chen is the founder and head foil coach at Silver Blade Fencing Academy. She brings decades of elite experience from China’s national fencing system to Las Vegas.

She was a member of the China National Fencing Team, a national foil champion, an Epee Silver Medalist, and competed at the World Fencing Championships.

她曾是中国国家击剑队成员，获得全国花剑冠军，重剑亚军, 并代表国家参加世界击剑锦标赛。

After retiring from competition, Amanda became a coach within China’s professional sports system, helping train elite athletes at both provincial and national levels.

退役后，陈教练进入中国的专业体育系统任教，培养了省队及国家级的优秀运动员。

Now based in Las Vegas, she coaches students ages 6–18, as well as adults, with a focus on foil fencing only.

Shanshan Chen began fencing as a child at Wuhan Sports Academy in China. After returning to the sport as an adult, she now serves as assistant coach at Silver Blade Fencing Academy, combining her athletic background, academic career, and creative approach to inspire the next generation of fencers.

陈姗姗小时候在中国武汉体育学院学习击剑，成年后重新投入这项运动。作为银剑击剑学院的初级教练，她融合自身的运动背景、学术经验与创意思维，激励新一代击剑学员。

Outside of fencing, Shanshan is a professor at the College of Southern Nevada(CSN), where she teaches Motion Graphics. Her background in design and technology brings a creative edge to her coaching.

She’s also a nationally ranked strength athlete in the U.S. Highland Games. Since 2022, she has remained in the national top 10 (Women’s Lightweight), earned two World Championship invitations, and took silver at the 2024 National Championship. Her deadlift max? 400 lbs.

JP Neang is an assistant foil coach at Silver Blade Fencing Academy, where she brings a structured, technique-focused approach to developing fencers of all ages. From footwork fundamentals to explosive plyometric conditioning, JP helps young athletes build not only stronger fencing skills, but also the physical ability and mindset needed to compete with confidence.

JP Neang 是银剑击剑学院的花剑助理教练，注重系统化、技术型的训练方式，致力于帮助不同年龄段的击剑学员成长。从基础步法到爆发力训练，她不仅帮助学员提升击剑技术，也注重培养运动员所需要的身体素质、专注力和竞技心态。

JP joined Silver Blade in 2026 after coaching at Prime Fencing Academy in Dublin, California. As a competitive fencer herself, she brings the perspective of an athlete and a learning specialist to every class. Her coaching is grounded in the belief that good technique is built through repetition, thoughtful practice, and understanding how skills become lasting habits.

JP 于2026年加入银剑击剑学院，此前曾在加州都柏林的 Prime Fencing Academy 担任击剑教练。作为一名竞技击剑运动员，她同时以运动员和学习专家的视角开展教学。她相信，扎实的技术来自持续练习、有意识的训练，以及真正理解如何将技能转化为长期稳定的运动习惯。

Outside of fencing, JP has spent more than 12 years leading innovative STEAM education programs for a national nonprofit organization, developing learning initiatives across 18 sites. As an independent educator and learning development specialist, she has also brought educational programs to young people across four continents. This experience gives her a unique ability to understand how young athletes learn, adapt, and grow.

JP is also a professional visual artist whose work has been presented in more than 50 exhibitions and received international recognition. Her artistic practice is built on precision, patience, observation, and a deep study of form — qualities that naturally carry over to her approach to fencing and coaching.
